• Profile & preferences — username, bio, interests, and the private preferences you choose to set.
• Content — the messages, photos you upload, and other content you send, plus AI-generated replies and media in your conversations.
• Usage & device data — activity timestamps, approximate region (your device time zone), device type (e.g. mobile or desktop), and basic diagnostics.
• Cookies & local storage — used to keep you signed in and remember settings.

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
• To power character memory and personalization so conversations feel continuous.
• For safety and moderation, and to enforce our Terms.
• To understand usage and improve the product (analytics).
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, and file storage.
• AI providers — to generate replies and media (text and image/video model providers process the prompts needed to produce a response).
• Analytics — privacy-conscious product analytics and tag management to understand usage.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit your profile and delete your account and its data at any time from Settings, or contact us to exercise your rights.

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is strictly for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
